Hospital Support

Hospital teams can feel supported when working with My Emergency Doctor. We offer a comprehensive and inclusive online medical solution that comes equipped with training and user guides that will get your team up and running quickly.

Our service provides a streamlined patient management process that busy or remote hospitals can leverage when they are overwhelmed or in need of extra support when access to resources is limited.

With access to qualified senior emergency specialist doctors (FACEMs) via our online telehealth service, hospital teams can expand their capability on demand and provide quality care for more patients. This can lead to a better patient experience and health outcome, better operational efficiencies and increased workforce satisfaction.

When emergency care is required, connect to our doctors at myemergencydr.com and click on ‘CALL DOCTOR’ – our web solution is intuitively designed for ease of use, or alternatively, call our hotline:1800 123 633. For more information on how it works please see our Metropolitan Hospitals service information page or Regional Hospitals service information page.

Training

When you embed the My Emergency Doctor service with your hospital we will provide a training and onboarding plan for your teams to ensure our service is understood and supported.

Training is pre-arranged at the start of a service contract and tailored to suit your organisation. Additional training can also be arranged to assist staff that work different rostered times. If you’re from a hospital who is already using My Emergency Doctor please contact your Nurse Unit Manager to enquire about how to use the service or accessing additional training.
